What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is nothing more than the state of your conscious mind. It is defined by the frequency of oscillations of your brain waves. In hypnosis, you enter the alpha state. In fact, entering the alpha state is as easy as taking a deep breath and closing your eyes. This is a light trance state. Just as there are varying levels of anything, there are also varying levels of hypnosis. And keep in mind that you are not being hypnotized, you are hypnotizing yourself. I only serve to guide you into that relaxed state known as hypnosis
Will I remember what happens/will I be conscious during the session - will I be in control during the session?
First - yes you will remember everything that happens during the session. You won't black out, you won't start walking aimlessly around in a deep trance, you won't start quacking like a duck. It is true that in the hypnotic state you are in highly suggestible state - but only as long as you want to be. Remember, you are in control of your hypnotic state, and anything you feel uncomfortable with you will simply ignore.
